We are a movement of American Jews organizing our community to end U.S. support for Israel's apartheid system and demand equality, justice, and a thriving future for all Palestinians and Israelis.

Enough is enough.

We’re sick and tired of pro-Trump, pro-war, anti-Palestinian communal “leaders” holding themselves up as the official representatives of Jews in the press and in the halls of power.

They don’t speak for us. We do.

A strong majority of US Jews believe in freedom and democracy for all Palestinians and Israelis and oppose forced mass starvation in Gaza, expanding apartheid in the West Bank, funding for bombs over schools and healthcare, and complicity with Trump’s racist authoritarianism.

It’s time we got organized and spoke for ourselves.

The self-appointed spokespeople have weapons developers and billionaire Trump donors behind them. The only way for us to drown them out is with people power – in our synagogues, our shabbat tables, and the streets. That means a movement built by and accountable to its members.

It’s going to take all of us.

No one is going to build the Jewish future for us. If we’re going to build it, we have to provide the resources ourselves. At IfNotNow, we pay dues, we build community, we do the hard work of organizing, and we take courageous action — together. The more people join, the stronger our collective voice, the harder it is for those in power to dismiss us, and the closer we are to shared safety and a thriving future for all.

We are building the Jewish future. Come build with us.

Host a screening of No Other Land

Earlier this year, Palestinian activists from Masafer Yatta won the Academy Award for Best Documentary for their film No Other Land, which tells the story of their community’s struggle to remain on their land.

Our goal is to show this film in as many Jewish communities as we can in order to demonstrate to our communities the daily reality of apartheid and ethnic cleansing for Palestinians.

These stories of Palestinian daily life are often erased in U.S. Jewish communal conversations. We must continue to organize our beloved Jewish communities to reject Israel’s system of apartheid and occupation.

Sign up to host a screening in your Jewish community.

Tell Congress: Block the Bombs.

Since October 2023, the U.S. has sent over $30 billion in weapons to the Israeli military.

During this period, the Israeli military has systematically targeted Palestinians in Gaza, killing at least 62,000 people and starving and displacing millions.

Yet our government continues to funnel weapons to Israel in violation of U.S. and international law, enabling its ongoing assault on Palestinians in Gaza.

The Block the Bombs Act is historic, standalone legislation that proactively challenges U.S. complicity in Israel’s genocide in Gaza by prohibiting the sale or transfer of some of the most lethal and commonly used U.S.-made weapons.

Email your member of Congress NOW to urge them to cosponsor and support the Block the Bombs Act.

We are Jews for Shared Safety.

In January, Trump signed an executive order to deport students and non-citizens who protest the Israeli military’s assault on Gaza.

This move — fueled by anti-Palestinian racism — is part of the administration’s broad-based attack on immigrants, our education system, and our democracy.

We call on fellow Jewish organizations and leaders who are committed to freedom of speech and safeguarding civil rights to vigorously oppose this dangerous executive order. The only true safety is our shared safety.
