Join a virtual workshop for synagogue members to learn about IfNotNow’s campaign to transform the Jewish community, stop the endless flow of U.S. weapons to Israel, and build a future of shared safety for all.

In this 2.5-hour virtual workshop participants will connect with other synagogue members from across the country, get political advocacy training, and develop concrete skills to have effective conversations in your community and bring more people into the fight for shared safety.

• Cost: We are offering this workshop on a sliding fee scale. The full cost per person to make this event possible is $54. You can select from multiple tiers or enter a custom amount. • Wants to develop concrete skills to have effective conversations in your community. 

• Is ready to bring more people into the fight for shared safety and take action together.

The tide is turning in the Jewish community. Earlier this fall, over 200 rabbis signed a letter expressing support for the Block the Bombs Act. Poll after poll shows that the Jewish community rejects endless war. Jewish elected officials are among those leading the call to stop the endless flow of U.S. weapons to Israel. In our synagogues, in our streets, and in the halls of power, there is a growing rejection of the lie that Jewish safety requires the oppression of Palestinians.  

The Jewish future depends on pluralistic democracy and equal rights for all. It requires freedom for Palestinians and for all people. It necessitates strong civil liberties, a free press, and good public schools. It calls for access to healthcare, housing, childcare, food, and clean water. It means the freedom to worship, to love, and to dream. It demands an end to bombs, apartheid, and war, and the relentless pitting of Jewish safety against Palestinian freedom. 

That is why IfNotNow is building a multiracial movement for shared safety. Synagogue members have a unique and powerful role to play in making change in the Jewish community and in U.S. politics. By joining together, organizing our communities, and demanding change, we have the power to shift the status quo and chart a new direction for our people.
