Frequently Asked Questions

  • The two organizations that support our movement are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit called If Not Now Education Fund (INNEF), a 501(c)(3) public charity that supports public education about Israel’s system of occupation and apartheid and training in skills to organize our Jewish communities, and a 501(c)(4) nonprofit advocacy group called If Not Now Movement (INNM), a political and advocacy organization. We work with our legal counsel at Trister, Ross, Schadler, and Gold PLLC to ensure compliance for all our work.

If Not Now Education Fund supports our movement’s work to train our growing network of volunteers in the skills they need to organize their Jewish communities to reject Israel’s system of occupation and apartheid, and demand equality, justice, and a thriving future for Palestinians and Israelis. In general, INNEF supports work like skills trainings, events focused around Jewish ritual and community engagement, and educational workshops.

If Not Now Movement aims to leverage our Jewish communal power to change U.S. foreign policy towards Israel, and add human rights conditions to U.S. military funding to Israel. INNM supports our movement’s public communications, political protests, lobbying efforts, and political endorsements.

  • Gifts made to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit are tax-deductible, whereas 501(c)(4) gifts are not. Please make sure your gift is directed to IfNotNow Education Fund.

  • If you are a non-US citizen residing abroad, please make your donation to IfNotNow Education Fund (501c3). This allows us to ensure that your gift will not be used for lobbying or election-related purposes, in compliance with US law.

  • Resourcing our movement takes a lot of work! We are always looking for volunteers to get involved with our fundraising efforts and help us organize more money to support the movement. Reach out to our Development Team to learn more about current opportunities to support our fundraising.
