We are building the Jewish future. Come build with us.

In a moment of rising violence, polarization, and fear, IfNotNow is building something different—bold Jewish resistance rooted in love, courage, and solidarity. Membership is the core engine of this project. It is how we are creating long-term grassroots power and capacity for our movement.

Join the Movement for Shared Safety and Freedom for All.

Why Now?

The US government continues to fund and enable Israel’s systems of apartheid and occupation and its genocidal assault on Gaza with money, diplomatic cover, and a campaign of fear and misinformation that exploits Jewish trauma to justify violence and oppression.

We believe Jewish safety is bound up with the safety and freedom of Palestinians. That’s why we’re organizing thousands of Jews across race, class, and generation to reject the status quo and demand real change. In our synagogues, in the streets, and in the halls of power, we are calling our people to rise to our proudest traditions and highest aspirations.

But to grow this movement, we need you.

What does it mean to be a member of IfNotNow?

Members of IfNotNow identify as Jewish* and are committed to growing a community rooted in Jewish values and ritual that serves as a political, spiritual, and cultural home to stand against the oppression of Palestinians. Members invest in the power of organizing and commit to building a world where Jewish safety is created not from fear and isolation but through solidarity.

As a member, you support IfNotNow in two specific ways:

  • You contribute financially, at whatever level is possible for you, to power the infrastructure of Jewish resistance
  • You take action towards realizing IfNotNow’s mission – whatever kind of action is possible for you – in ways consistent with our Code of Conduct.

As a member, you have access to:

  • Exclusive access to member-only programs, including our political education series, calls with leading thinkers and analysts, and updates on our movement strategy
  • Discounts on IfNotNow’s merchandise store and limited edition swag
  • Quarterly member newsletter and invite to an annual members-only State of the Movement call
  • Opportunities to provide feedback on IfNotNow strategy and tools.

What Your Membership Dues Makes Possible:

  • Political education for Jewish communities on Israel/Palestine and the weaponization of anti-semitism
  • Organizing cohorts in synagogues and Jewish institutions
  • National campaign coordination and chapter-city level action support
  • Ritual spaces and community-building opportunities to strengthen our connect bonds and build an alternative Jewish space rooted in shared safety
  • Cutting-edge digital safety and legal infrastructure to protect our movement and our people
  • Full-time movement staff and leadership development for our leaders, including skills training, coaching and financial stipends

*We welcome non-Jews to support the movement as Sustaining Allies, because we know that realizing our vision of a thriving future for all through solidarity requires many forms of allyship. This includes: Jewish allyship to Palestinians, white Jewish allyship to Jewish and non-Jewish people of color, and the non-Jewish allyship to Jews engaging in the work of organizing our community from a place of compassion and healing. We invite Sustaining Allies to participate in the movement as outlined above for the sake of supporting our Jewish-led movement to build power.

What We've Accomplished This Year

  • Mobilized 4,000+ people at events and protests in cities across the country

  • Sent over 30,000 online actions to Congress urging action to limit offensive weapons sales to Israel and block Trump’s harmful domestic policies

  • Reached over 13,000 inactive supporters and brought them back into the fight

  • Held 87 events across the country, including demonstrations, political education workshops, chapter meetings, and ritual programming

  • Added 8,700+ new members to our list

We’ve also fortified our internal systems to withstand repression and scale up: bringing in new leaders, improving digital security, and unionizing our staff. We’re not just reacting, we’re building something durable.

Where We’re Going Next

This isn’t the time to slow down. Our next chapter is about expanding, uniting, and transforming:

  • EXPAND: Deepen organizing in synagogues and affiliated Jewish communities

  • UNITE: Build a big-tent Jewish resistance to MAGA’s weaponization of antisemitism

  • TRANSFORM: Bring more Jews into the fight for Palestinian freedom and shared safety

We’re launching local organizing cohorts, training hubs, political education series, and more.

We’re ready to meet the moment—but only if we have the resources to match our vision.

IfNotNow is committed to building a multi-racial, multi-ethnic, cross-class movement. We aspire to be a community that fully embodies the diversity of Jewish identity, and we recognize that many people have experienced oppression and marginalization both in and outside Jewish spaces, including IfNotNow.

Acknowledging the ways that systems of oppression continue to dominate our society, we welcome Jews who hold marginalized identities to sign up for membership at our lowest rate of $5/year while you explore this movement and community. If this causes a financial hardship, please reach out to
development@ifnotnowmovement.org to discuss our dues-waiver process.
